NOMAD APC Under construction teaser image

Hey guys! I got the NOMAD Static mesh imported into UDK (It hasn't been rigged as a skeletal mesh yet, and therefore I don't have it as a driveable vehicle yet. Also it is not textured.)

  1. Think you might want to bake down some of those details on that model? Also looks like you have some very ill-placed triangles in that bit on the bottom right. What's the tri-count on this model? Keep up the work on the mod.

  2. Yeah, it's not the complete version, I just got bored and didn't have anything to update except for the fact that I now have this mesh...

  4. I will test to see how UDK import the model behaves. I thought it was a static model. Subsequently I have been told that the model had to have wheels driving. This has resulted in the restoration of UV mapping and texturing result.
    About 1000 polygons with wheels.
    when exporting to FBX generates triangles. The orientation of the normals are correct. Exporting to FBX are not generated groups of smoothing. The visual effect and so what you see. Probably exporting to ASE are kept smoothing groups, and should remedy the problem.
    The model and test.

    ...This work, I would do it full time.
